Price a digital product — no shipping, no inventory — and see what each verified platform keeps per sale and per month, after its transaction and payment fees.

Per-sale fee = the platform's verified transaction + payment fees on the selling price (Etsy adds its $0.20 listing fee per sale; Shopify adds only its card fee per sale, with the Basic subscription spread over your monthly sales for the net-per-sale figure). No shipping is charged or paid, because the product is digital. This tool covers only Etsy, eBay and Shopify with verified fees. Other digital storefronts (for example Gumroad, Payhip, Lemon Squeezy, Teachable) are not shown here, because their fee schedules are not in the verified fee database — showing their rates from memory would be guessing. If a platform row is missing for your country (eBay UK business, eBay Australia Pro), that is the same rule, not an error.
Worked example (defaults): United States, price $20, cost $0, 100 sales. Etsy $2.35 per sale (listing $0.20 + 6.5% × $20 = $1.30 + 3% × $20 + $0.25 = $0.85) → net $17.65, margin 88.3%, monthly $1,765. eBay $3.12 per sale (13.6% × $20 = $2.72 + $0.40) → net $16.88, monthly $1,688. Shopify $0.88 per sale (2.9% × $20 + $0.30) + $39/month → monthly fees $127, monthly net $1,873.
Amazon is not in this tool, deliberately — not an oversight and not a “coming soon” badge. Amazon referral fees vary by category (roughly 8% to 45%) and FBA fees depend on size and weight, which this tool does not collect, and Amazon’s Seller Central schedule is login-gated and could not be verified from an official page. No Amazon numbers are shown rather than guessed ones. See the Fee Index for exactly what is missing.
